Established in 1970, the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Chennai Region, headquartered in the capital of Tamilnadu, Chennai, diligently oversees the operations of Kendriya Vidyalayas in Tamilnadu, Pondicherry, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Presently, it exercises governance over 52 KVs within its jurisdiction.
